Clashes in Aisha Bakkar; one dead and six wounded
June 28, 2009

Fighting erupted in the Aisha Bakkar neighborhood of Beirut between members of the Amal and Future Movement parties, causing the death of one woman, identified as Zeina M., and injuring six people.

The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) rushed to the neighborhood to contain the fighting, but clashes reportedly spread to the Salim Salam, Mosseitbeh and Mar Elias neighborhoods of Beirut. A LAF soldier was reportedly injured by sniper fire.

The Army Command ordered the LAF to open fire on any armed man encountered on the streets of neighborhoods experiencing clashes.

If there was no Berri then Lebanon would had to invent a Berri; he is a Lebanese necessity. If it was not for him M14 would have voted for a president with 50% plus 1.

of course this is not surprising, but again we bring back Mr Berry , tomorrow the blocking third, maybe another may 7 !!!! why did we go to vote then ???? we have to choose either the democracy or kneel to the terrorism of the weapons they have. we need courageous 14 March decisions.

Hizbullah are showing there force again telling March14 that you do what we want or else. This is a taste of what could happen reminder of May 7 2008. It is time to face face to face and stop hiding behind "protecting the Resistance" crap. First mistake was electing Berri and what do March14 gets ? It about time to learn that you cannot negotiate with armed groups.
